Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our Finance Office. You will provide essential support to the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant to ensure the smooth operation of financial functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong accounting skills and experience working within accounts teams.

Salary 

$76600 + Super + NFP Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable systems and processes.
  • Manage periodic direct debits and handle rejections efficiently.
  • Support resident registers and contract management systems.
  • Assist administrators with resident/client data and account queries.
  • Conduct internal audits related to your duties and assist with the annual audit process.
  • Carry out banking and treasury functions including bank reconciliations.
  • Prioritize and complete allocated tasks to support the Finance and Corporate teams.
  • Participate in training, meetings, and continuous skills development.

Perform other miscellaneous tasks as directed to support the finance function.

Selection Criteria

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong financial and accounting skills with experience in accounts teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT tools.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills.
  • Clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to research, analyse, and think strategically and innovatively.
