About the Role
Goodwin employs Carers to provide Goodwin residents with persoal care and assistance as thy require. Care workers are part of a team who perform personal care and support tasks to ensure residents receives support to maintain a safe, dignified, high quality of life.
As a Carer at Goodwin, you will be part of a multi-skilled team responsible for delivering personal care, support, and engagement activities that enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Provide quality personal care and support to residents in line with individual care plans.
Complete allocated duties while maintaining safety and care standards
Accurately document care provided and promptly report incidents or concerns
Comply with legislation and Goodwin policy/procedures and practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration
Maintain professional presentation and uphold a strong customer service culture
Essential Skills
Experience in delivery of care outcomes for older people.
Experience in achieving outcomes and skill development.
Sound level skills in office systems, procedures, documentation and record keeping.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications (Desirable)
Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Community Care.
Medication Assist qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
