About The Role 

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Home Care Team Leader to provide hands-on leadership, mentoring, and support to our community-based carer workforce in Canberra.

This field-based role ensures carers are well supported, confident in their practice, and delivering consistent, high-quality care services to clients in their homes. You will act as a key link between carers and management, helping strengthen team capability, performance, and wellbeing.

About You

You are a confident, approachable leader with a strong background in aged care or home care services. You enjoy supporting others, building capability in teams, and ensuring clients receive consistent, high-quality care.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance (for work use)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Home & Community) or higher
  • Experience delivering care to older people in community or residential settings
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or supporting a care team
  • Strong communication, organisation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently across a community-based role

Highly Desirable

  • Medication Skill Set
  • Certificate in Frontline Management
  • Certificate IV in Community Services
