Job Description

Home Care Scheduling Assistant is responsible for coordinating client visits and maintaining effective staff rosters while providing high-quality administrative and reception support.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors, delivering a welcoming and professional experience at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain Home Care Support Worker rosters and schedules
  • Ensure client visits are scheduled according to client preferences and support worker availability
  • Manage client admissions and discharges within Home Care and Finance systems
  • Provide reception and telephone support services
  • Process fortnightly payroll and approved leave requests
  • Maintain accurate records, filing, and documentation
  • Assist with meeting coordination, room bookings, and minute taking
  • Support office administration, procurement, mail, scanning, and general office operations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and high-quality customer service outcomes

About You

  • Previous administration experience in a busy environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High-level Microsoft Office skills
  • The ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • A strong customer service focus and attention to detail
  • Experience with record keeping and administration processes

Desirable

  • Experience in aged care or community services
  • Scheduling or rostering experience
  • Business or administration qualifications
