Job Description
Home Care Scheduling Assistant is responsible for coordinating client visits and maintaining effective staff rosters while providing high-quality administrative and reception support.
You will be the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors, delivering a welcoming and professional experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain Home Care Support Worker rosters and schedules
Ensure client visits are scheduled according to client preferences and support worker availability
Manage client admissions and discharges within Home Care and Finance systems
Provide reception and telephone support services
Process fortnightly payroll and approved leave requests
Maintain accurate records, filing, and documentation
Assist with meeting coordination, room bookings, and minute taking
Support office administration, procurement, mail, scanning, and general office operations
Contribute to continuous improvement and high-quality customer service outcomes
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Previous administration experience in a busy environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High-level Microsoft Office skills
The ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
A strong customer service focus and attention to detail
Experience with record keeping and administration processes
Desirable
Experience in aged care or community services
Scheduling or rostering experience
Business or administration qualifications
