Job Description

Goodwin is seeking a highly organised and personable Home Care Administration Assistant to join our Home Care team on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

This role is the first point of contact for clients, families, and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional experience while ensuring the smooth operation of administrative and business systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide reception and telephone support as the first point of contact
  • Deliver general office administration including mail handling, filing, and photocopying
  • Coordinate and maintain efficient staff rosters aligned with client needs and preferences
  • Process fortnightly payroll and manage approved leave records
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and procurement
  • Maintain accurate records and client documentation
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including receipting, banking, and account monitoring
  • Organise meetings, room bookings, and events, including minute-taking
  • Support the Home Care program and assist with additional administrative duties as required

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven administration experience in a busy environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High-level organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Experience with record keeping, documentation, and cash handling

Desirable

  • Experience in aged care or community services
  • Administration or business qualifications
  • Rostering or scheduling experience
